about us

live, breathe, design.

Our daily mission is a simple one: to use design as a catalyst to build brands that thrive. As a team, we have a relentless desire to create work that is smart, effective, and inspired. We seek relationships with like-minded clients who value the role that design plays in everyday life. Our grounded approach to brand design is a careful balance of creativity and strategy which yields solutions that are both inspiring and informative. We are a small group, with a diverse range of skills, operating in an engaging environment, located on Main Street in the coolest city in the mid-west, and doing work that we have great passion for. We love sharing how affective design, that is grounded in strategic thinking, can make a difference for any business, anywhere.

our boundless expertise.

Because we’ve had great success as a business, and as designers, we’ve become versed in many different mediums and in many different industries. We’ve helped international, national, regional, local, and mom-n-pop companies become stronger. We’ve packaged, identity’d, promoted, advertised, and “brought online” all kinds of products and services in B2B and B2C arenas. But, we’re not experts in any one field, which is a good thing. Our approach, and our ability to learn quickly in new mediums and categories, keeps us fresh for whatever’s next. What we learn about one endeavor informs the next, no matter what we’re working on. Our expertise lies in how good we’ve become at strategically applying our creative thinking in ways that clients and consumers love.

our methodology.

Be wary of someone with a process they’ve trademarked. Because if they have such a process, that means they do it for you, and the next guy, and the guy after that. Yes, we have a process, but it’s always different–by design. Here, we learn about, think through, and then design for every single challenge individually and intentionally, because no two situations are the same, and no two clients are the same. We learn, we question, we discuss, we create, we evolve, we build, we deploy, and we adjust as needed. Everything we do is about thinking and creating for each individual case. This yields unique solutions for any challenge. This keeps every engagement fresh. This is the way effective work is made. This is design. And this is what we’re all about.
